Magical Tip of the Week May 5th, 2023
We all have a magic in us. For some it is a smile or the right words at the right time. For others it is manifestation and divine readings. This segment is all about sharing something magical from the prior week.
*Making tea is so much easier than I thought, and drinking tea mixtures I've made myself makes me feel more magical.*
If you have a pot and running water, you can make your own teas. I don't know why I thought it required more than this, but it really doesn't. I recently have been learning more about health and wellness, and one part of my wellness journey is taking herbs and eating more fruits and vegetables. I started eating more vegetables and fruits, but I felt like I was producing way more waste. I had a hard time figuring out what I could do with the scraps until I realized I could boil them in water and make tea/juice. I throw things into a pot and just drink the juice often now. I also throw any fruits and veggies that are about to go bad into my juicer and drink that. This has helped me get more nutrients from my food and eat everything I buy. I have been buying more and more fresh herbs and spices to cook with and make wellness teas. The process of making teas is similar to boiling my scraps. I throw various fruits and spices into a bot and boil them for my wellness. I'll list 3 tea mixtures that I have really began to love these past few weeks. I hope you try them. If you do and you like them, leave a comment below. Also, feel free to share your own favorite tea mixtures.
1. Apple Cider Vinegar+ Lemon+ Ginger+ Honey (great for digestion)
2. Hibiscus+ Lime+ Honey+ Green Tea (morning time)
3. Chamomile+ Lavender+ Star Anise (great at bedtime)
ProTip: Do not over cook herbs. Overcooking will kill some of the nutrients.
